We have some exciting breedings in the works for 2017, with several quality polled options available. Rather than breed for the show season, we have decided to stagger our breedings to have a more manageable and long term milk supply throughout the year. After all, we are a homestead first and foremost and keeping goats should be fun, sustainable and rewarding. Freshening all our does in the Spring in past years made me (and our livestock guardian dogs) a wee bit cranky and sleep deprived. So for 2017, two does are due in March, two more in September and the others are getting a year off to rest or grow.
We will be putting our does back on milk test in the Spring and participating in Linear Appraisal again in June.
Please note, we do not do farm tours. For sales we are open
by appointment only.
